Jesse and Lex Wedding Co. | A Photography Duo Located in Jacksonville, Florida
Jesse and Lex Wedding Co. is comprised of Jesse Brantman and Lexi Mire. We love creating photos and we felt like our wedding and portrait work was truly at its best when we did it together, so we decided to join forces and use our different strengths to create inspiring visual stories. We want to make fun and emotional art for the big events of your life.
I fell in love with photography in my high school film class, where I made it my mission to figure out all the weird that can happen through darkroom processes. I went to Jacksonville University for photography and after shooting everything from corporate head shots to architectural photography, I reached wedding photography and found a new love for capturing moments and creating lasting memories. I love finding the perfect light in unlikely places, and making it look like a natural light studio. I have a serious obsession with the micro-expressions found in the in-between moments. My style is a mix between documentary photo-journalism and natural portraiture. Along with wedding photography, I love editorial fashion and lifestyle photography.
I am a fine art photographer who fell in love with weddings and now I am addicted. My love for photography started with a passion for self portraits at fifteen. I starting sharing my photography on Flickr.com and soon joined a community of thriving young photographers who shared and supported each other's work. Through Flickr I have had so many opportunities to meet inspirational people and have traveled to Atlanta, Vancouver, New York, Boston, and California to attend and host photography meet ups. Entering the realm of weddings has given me the same rush I felt when I first discovered photography, which is akin the warm feeling of young love. It's exciting, fun, and enchanting. I love getting the opportunity to bring the spark of my fine art instincts to the beauty of a wedding day.
Fun Facts: I love animals (like I am the person who chases stray cats down the street and always find the dog at the party), I have a constant sweet tooth, and I am in this chapter in my life where every time there is karaoke I make myself do it to get over my fear of public embarrassment.
P.S. We have an awesome cat named Juniper. You would love her!
